When you think of me,
is it the smell of weed,
or my yellow teeth, or nothing at all.
I like to think it's not that hard to text,
or call me when you're never coming home.
Do you want a piece of me?
I mean I'm sorry, I never thought I'd end up alone.
What did you mean when you said you'd try to fix this with me?
I guess I'll need to find a new home.
I sleep alone these days, not by choice,
I always hated being alone.
I hear you call my name,
I don't care but it keeps on freaking me out.
I need sincerity to say goodbye,
I'll never be me again.
I hear you call my name,
I don't care but it keeps on freaking me out.
I sleep alone these days, not by choice,
I always hated being alone.
I hear you call my name,
I don't care but it keeps on freaking me out.

Postcards to July

It's been a long time, since we've last talked.
I'm still afraid to see you, sleeping in the dark.
I have so much to ask you, but no courage to call you up.
Why can't we just go back to the times when it was okay,
to love you?
How are you doing?
I'm doing just fine.
Paying my bills, to late all the time.
You kept me in line, and now I'm off the hook.
All these things I want to tell you, I could write a book.
So I'll send you a letter,
It won't change the way you feel about me now.
But it will help me get over you.
Confess what I've done wrong,
and show you that I've grown into a man.
I never knew that I could be,
for you, for me.

Have I seen everything I need to?
All the things I will do,
moving on without you.
Do you remember back at your pool,
how I almost lost you, everything we've been through.
Don't mean a thing if you're gone and I'm lonely,
I've got this feeling that you can't live without me.
The end is near, It's time you say that you love me.
I've got this feeling that you can't live without me.
The future's bleak, we'll all die slowly.
But you know I've always said, "Dowatcha Gottado!"
(Sweet you're the sweetest, Pea in the world)
(Sweet Pea you're the sweetest, Pea of them all)
And you get what you get,
But they won't let you quit,
And you won't let them know,
Cause there's no where to go.
